Navy & Coral

I really love coral it's just so happy and bright. When you pair with a classic like navy it's a breath of fresh air. Here is my navy and coral wishlist.

1. From Fossil, I know this a little more on the orange side but its a nice bright transition into fall
2. From Anthropologie, I love it as a stripe combo paired with a floral pattern
3. From EardropsByLacey, also looks great with gold
4. From Gap, I like the color combo as solids paired together

The little things

Going through difficult stressful times is never fun, but lately I've been trying to focus on the little things that make me happy.

I chopped off my hair and got new earrings

Because of our mild winter, flowers are exploding with blooms, some things haven't bloomed in years.

I got to hang out with my friend and go fabric shopping for some new projects, that I will hopefully work myself up too.....soon :) It's so fun to geek out over fabric with someone that loves making stuff too.

Also we have Killdeer birds in our parking lot at work, they come around this time of year, even though they also call the beach home. I was pleasantly surprised to see babies in our parking lot this year, they have the cutest little walk and they shake their little tails. Yes, I am easily amused.

SO FLUFFY!

And this weekend I got to see Dirt's latest succulent offering. A mossy succulent turtle!! So freaking cute :)

Earring wishlist

I am pretty low maintenance when it comes to a beauty routine, I rarely wear make up. But I do like to accessorize with a pretty pair of earrings, it really does brighten up an outfit, and give you that extra little pop without much effort.

I like drop earrings better than stud, I have a few favorite pairs. These red/pink ones were given to me on whim by a coworker a few years ago. I love them. Especially with anything purple.

These blue ones, I found at my favorite art museum gift shop, I had to decide between the blue, purple and light pink, I should have purchased all three, but live and learn. ;)

Here's my earring wishlist.

I have been looking at these for awhile. I also like the other pretty pale colors they come in.


These are bright, fun and flashy and hand cut leather.

I also like these cascading studs because they are colorful and flat so they won't make a clanking sound when you are on your cell phone :)

I think I like the yellow/orange/pink version the best. These two are both from the same shop, which also has fun necklaces.

This is a new shop I found, I really like that uses found objects from the sea. She makes pretty stuff.

As you might know, my favorite color is purple. These are pretty and a little dramatic. They are from athread.

These appeal to my cutesy vintage side. They are sweet and colorful and available here.
